I think the only issue I had with this was the 8-year-long "staring at dancing chicks in his hareem" scene.
Other than that, I learned loads.

Ramesses II, and Seti before him, meant a new beginning after the Armarna Period and at the same time a return to the past glories of ancient Egypt

Another 30 yr old documentary renamed and posted as if recent ? Why do you people keep doing this ? Is this a channel to inform and teach or is this just an archive of every documentary that was ever made in history ?

Am I the only one noticing the absolutely historically inaccurate costumes in this documentary? Egyptians in pants and set-in sleeves? No one consulted a costume historian for this one?

If you believe that is the mummy of Ramesses.
A mummy that doesn't look anything like the statues.

Wow during war ancient Egypt had the equivalent of russias “Wagner group” to increase their numbers and fight with them. That’s amazingly ahead of their time…

He was not, there was another prior to him that was richer and had the greatest expansion Egypt ever had. He has the most children and was the greatest resurgence to reclaim to be great but not the greatest.
