you could say it was a tooth abcess that killed him, on the other hand when you reach old age like 90+, anything will kill you. my grandma died from a simple cold, but id say she died of old age more than anything

He outlived so many of his wives and children that at least some of his life was probably depressing. Imagine getting death news about your loved ones again and again. He lived so long his subjects probably thought he was immortal. When he finally died, it was probably a massive shock to them.

Grinding mills that use rocks and can leave small hard residue to the flour that can break teeth. Still happens today.

Child mortality IS the main distorter of the numbers and the main thing casual observers sometimes fail to account for. But I wouldn't go so far as to say any man who made it to adulthood could "expect" to reach old age. Not even by today's standards- think of how many tooth abscesses or other infections could have laid a man out for good at much younger ages, where modern medicine would deal with them. A man had a good chance once out of childhood, better than those unmodified mortality stats suggest, but still with some caveats.

If you make it to 93 today that’s still pretty impressive

Dude, it annoys me when people say, kings went in war, like they faught in the front lines. It's the poor common humans who died fighting in wars while kings took all the glory and riches. And He was wealthy and had great life that's why he lived long

The 50 years is already without the child mortality of under 5 years. Otherwhise the live expectancy would be 25 years. Also, women who survive into their 40s had a better change to become 60+ years old than men. On the other hand, men had a higher chance to become older than 40. The reason for that is that women over 30 had a higher rate of dying in childbed but were not able to bear children from around their 40s, while fighting age for men was up to 60 years and men had to do the hard work because the women were pregnant most of the time with the hope that one of their children will survive long enough to care for the parents when they are old.

Ramses on the other hand was a god king with the best physicans of his time, he was surrounded by Bodyguards even during war and had never to hunger. He did no hard labor and when hunting, he had an army of hunters with him who would protect him.

The 93-year-old part of his video is the only thing that's accurate everything else I have no idea where he's getting his information from it's completely wrong

One side of Ramses jaw was broken while a tide of river swept him and his army

Honestly, as long as you survived into adulthood, life expectancy wasn’t that drastically different back then.
