Emma is such a sprite. Bright and fickle. Her humor is a lamp in the night. Her smile is absolutely infectious. The world is better for her being in it.

The crying scene in Love Actually is still the most scene ever.

Emma crying in Love Actually is the only time I have hated Alan Rickman.

I agree with Kit about the crying scene. Just so heart breaking & relatable.

The way she delivers the line "had I not been bound to silence I could have provided proof enough of a broken heart, even for you" in Sense and Sensibility has always stayed with me.

I cried with her at that scene in Love Actually. Not only did she realize her husband was cheating on her but also she couldn't express herself freely because she needed to take the kids to the Christmas show. I kept thinking I couldn't have done it, I would have broken down.

For me it’s when she confronts her husband in Love Actually. Normal, hurt and near tears, and then she turns on a dime and smiles for her children. It was awesome. That and all her acceptance speeches. Especially her Golden Globes letter from Jane Austen.

Kit Harington is totally right. That Love Actually moment is one of the greatest moments of screen acting ever, and no should have to apologize for thinking that.

It's weird, I never realised that some people think the guy had accidentally swapped the presents. No. He'd bought his mistress a lovely gold trinket and his wife a CD. That's what makes it so sad.

Emma crying in her bedroom with Joni Mitchell singing "Both Sides Now" makes me cry, too. Every single time.

She was fucking amazing in that scene and I truly believe should have been nominated for an Oscar. An actress who I admire and underrated

I always love this interviewer. One of the best there is. The questions are well thought out, show he cares about the films and the actors/actresses that he interviews.

I'm a grown-ass man and when I see that crying scene in Love Actually it breaks my heart every time. And ... I disagree, it's not just because she has to pull herself back together. You can actually feel her heart breaking as you watch.

That scene in Love Actually where she is talking to her husband and asks him ‘what would you do? Would you stay... knowing that life would always be just a little bit worse?”. That is a big moment that a movie captured.

I just wanna say that the interviewer - is amazing. The way he makes the actor feel comfortable and asks questions that aren't boring - but actually genuinely good, make me love all his interviews.

THAT scene, that ONE scene has shredded my heart over and over. It’s brilliantly done, truth in emotion and complete
