I use Parian Spirit and clean brushes after every use. I cringe at the idea that I’m using a dirty foundation or eye brush, etc. Easy to clean each night - only takes a few minutes!

So happy you did this video but I have a quick question - I have always dried my brushes with the bristles hanging down. I do this to be sure any residual water/moisture doesn’t seep back into the handle. From now on I will follow your advice and lay them flat but I’m just curious as to why. Thank you. Hey Nikol - I wasn't going to watch this, because I thought I knew the best way to clean my brushes. It turns out that I didn't! If I didn't have all the pieces/ingredients on hand already, I would have bought the coconut cleaner shown in your video - worth it! Since I had a small tub of coconut oil, I put some in a small container with a lid and mixed in dish detergent (generic Dawn). I used my handheld, textured cleaning mat and went to work. Wow, not only does this soften the brush hairs, but the coconut oil loosens the makeup and the detergent cleans it all! My white-haired brushes never looked so clean. This was a great tutorial - thank you!
