How to Wash Your Face PROPERLY (for Healthy Skin and Eyelashes)
Показать описание
Learn how to wash your face properly! Most skincare routines neglect to address eyelid and eyelash health - which can lead to eyelid styes and other eye infections. As an eye doctor, I see a lot of people suffer from a buildup of skin oils in their lashes which can lead to a condition called blepharitis. In this video, learn how to cleanse your face to achieve healthy skin, healthy eyelashes and get rid of acne.
Do you have problems with oily skin, acne and blepharitis? In this video, learn my skin care routine and how to wash your face properly. Washing your face up to twice per day, as recommended by the American Academy of Dermatology, helps get rid of acne and prevents oily skin which can lead to a build up of irritating oils and bacteria on the skin. Although many people do wash their face, they often do it incorrectly by using abrasive washcloths and forgetting to clean their eyelids and eyelashes. As an eye doctor, I see so many people experience irritation and infections due to the buildup of skin oils leading to blepharitis.

⚡ How to properly wash your face ⚡
Based on the American Academy of Dermatology recommendations
1. Wet your face with lukewarm water
2. Apply a gentle, non-alcohol based face wash with your fingertips
PRO TIP : Do not use a washcloth or abrasive sponge (this will cause irritation to the skin)
3. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean towel.
If your skin is dry or sensitive, apply lotion (non comedogenic) to the skin
Pro Tip - be very careful around the eyelids as the eyelid is the thinnest skin on the body
4. Cleans the eyelids and lashes using a hypochlorous acid solution or eyelid lid scrub such as shown in the video.
