Thank you Will, honest and revealing! I live full time in my RV with an EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra and two batteries for 12kw. I lost the inverter and one battery bank this summer in a flood at the RV campground, EcoFlow was so incredibly awesome on their return/exchange process. It was not a quick process but they did replace what I lost and for that I will be their customer for a long time. I currently use a Renogy 12v 200a house battery w/Renogy monitor. Also impressed with that setup. As a side note, my RV neighbor showed me his 6kw setup and it was straight from your book that he used to follow, well done on all fronts!

Thank you Will. I purchased and installed 3 Li-Time 100A LiFePO4 “Trolling Motor” batteries in my RV in a parallel configuration combined with 3x200W solar panels connected to a 50A MFFP Controller and a 2000w (4000w peak) pure sine wave Inverter. I run 2 fridges (12v and 110v) as well as Starlink 7/24 and also use it to power my microwave, coffee maker, toaster, satellite, 2TVs, AppleTV, ice maker, and Traeger BBQ (as required not simultaneously). The batteries have plenty of reserve power in the morning and are quickly recharded by my solar array. I purchased this particulae model because of the low temp charging protection and so far am delighted with the quality and reliability.

Did you know that welder's wire leads are made of a much finer and more flexible copper wire than standard heavy gauges? This means that for most of your heavy wiring, perhaps up to two gauge you can use these more flexible cables and the advantage is that when you do as much temporary testing as YOU do it will aid you in making easy connections and bending around tight areas. I hope you will look into getting some on line. Great job.

The battery being potted like this probably makes sense for a trolling application rather it being some sort of cost cutting, poor manufacturing, etc. Environmental protection against water, vibration, etc.

Milwaukee makes an M12 cut-off tool (miniature circular saw) with an adjustable plate for setting depth. That might work for jobs like this.

This is BY FAR the best construction we have seen for $200. Im buying 2 to use as extension battery for my delta 2.

Great video, Will. *** TIP ALERT *** Use a small (5-1/2") circular saw and just set the height to the wall thickness. Easy straight cuts. Works better than the cutter you use now. If you make the depth just shallow, you can finish cuts with razor knife.
