Just listen to the loud howling/whistling sound of the wind, it easily tells us how strong and powerful the typhoon was. Really really scary. Nevertheless, the camera crew displayed a brave and honorable act. Thank you for helping these people.

As I'm reading on the comments I have notice no one even mentioning or giving thanks to the CNN team for the heroic act of rescueing a family trap in their house.I personally thank you guys hope I can see one of my countrymen helping each other in times of tragedy.God bless you always!

It's been almost nine years since this happened, but the events that happened on this day still come back to haunt me, I am one of the survivors of this disaster. Many of my relatives died. To this day, I still carry the trauma I suffered from this typhoon. I was 15 years old when this happened now I'm 24, Every time I see my scars on my body I remember everything that happened and it makes me cry. 😭

Respect to these reporters - not only doing their job in very trying circumstances but also helping out rather than just 'observing'

I was 8 years old when this devastated our small town in Iloilo, up to this day, I can still vividly remember how the wind crushed everything. This was so traumatic to me. We got no electricity for 4 months!
