This video told me nothing about the differences. From what I gather, according to TechteamGB, the only differences between a card made by one manufacturer and another, are purely cosmetic or of so little consequence as to not merit mentioning.
How about customer reviews? How about benchmarks? How about a company's history for quality and support?
Lame...

I have had MSI twice...Twin Frozer cooler was why, it’s REALLY well designed. EVGA, XFX and most recent the Zotac 2080, all were/are great. First time with Zotac and I am so far veeeery impressed. Wanted them for the cooler design, already OC’d, indeed runs cool and quiet, quiet for a 3 fan anyway.

MSI and EVGA are always going to be my go to for the majority of my PC components, especially for the mobo and PSU.

Here let me tell you the differences
Msi: if you want one free game (SCORE:85/100)
Asus: if you want more efficiency (SCORE:90/100)
Gigabyte: not designed for overclock because cooling fans are shit (SCORE:78/100)
Zotac: complete garbage (SCORE: -100/100)
EVGA: decent performance for cheaper price (SCORE: 75/100)

I've only ever bought reference cards, usually fancier models but still from the OP, just sprung on a msi so we will see how long it lasts.

In terms of the rest of my components, I'm a rather big fan of Asus ever since they were a small up and comer they tended to make very robust mother boards and good peripherals. Interested in how msi is going to fair as they kinda had the same meteoric rise as Asus but their still at the point where their prices are a bit cheaper

MSI Customer support is very Rude, unlike EVGA or Asus Customer support
therefore, I strongly recommend buying EVGA or Asus Graphic Cards

Hi, EVGA and Zotac owner here, I like Zotac for it’s bang for your buck approach but EVGA had recently won me out with general reliability and design.

i vote for asus strix line up because the capacitor lifetime is more than 90000+ hours

My previous and current cards are Asus Dual series. They perform quite well, I can't seem to even overclock them enough to get temps up to even 70, so not sure if I just have bad luck in the silicon lottery or if that is because the Duals are the lower models in each card segment. Still, I feel they are great value and the new ones finally have some lighting on them, even if it is a static line that you cannot change, still looks good imo. When I upgrade to a 3080ti, I'll prob be going with the MSI Gaming X Trio though as I tend to like the way those look.

EVGA, best warranty and returns policy, tolerance of modding, good value, 2 slot gpu.

I initially bought only Asus. I thought they were the highest quality, most reliable and good looking. I've never had an issue with an Asus card. I bought several used which are still running like champs today in various builds. With the advent of the GPU crisis, choices were restricted. I was able to get several cards through Newegg shuffle, interestingly out of four cards I got three Gigabyte and one MSI. My impressions in entering the Shuffle many, many times, was there were more Gigabyte cards on offer than any other brand; very few Asus, very few MSI and few if any of any other brand like Zotac or Pallit and so on. What's more, I ended up with a couple of Gigabyte motherboards in combos which, thankfully, turned out to be good boards. I don't know why Gigabyte was so "over represented". It made me wonder if their cards were just not in as much demand. Perhaps they just had better production capabilities at the time, or perhaps they were selling less to miners. I don't k now. However, the Gigabyte cards I've purchased have been fine, with the exception of their Fusion 2.0 software and GPU management software. I was also actually very impressed with the MSI card I received and have since purchased a couple of motherboards that received rave reviews from reviewers I trust. So, at this point, I would probably still choose to buy Asus if I had the option, but am not as biased against the other two, Gigabyte and MSI, as I once was.

As the name suggests i did own the strix but bloody hell it died within 2 years(960). Decided to go for the gigabyte gtx 1060 still rocking it, now thinking of going for the evga rtx 3080 when it hits msrp.

Wow.... what a waste of time. This guy said ZERO about graphic cards and why there are more than one manufacturer.

Zotac gives the most power for the price, out of the box overclock

Zotac give you all the power you want at the cost of heat, they dont givea crap. You will move anything on those cards, but they will melt with time

The one available lol. Such a shortage still I don't think people can be as picky about brand loyalty

Sapphire are one of the best one they done an amazing job with hd7900 cards witch where so hot running that refrance coolers couldn't keep them cool enough to be viable options but sapphire dual fan models keep them under wraps still have a couple n run really well to this day

Never liked MSI and ECS for board and graphics. When I was starting to build PC from early 2000's I always seen MSI break quickly compared to other brands. I usually go to ASUS or GIGABYTE for great durability. For budget and a bit of durability I go for Asrock.
