Wait is it just me or the guy was so focused on trash talking the matte coating that he forgot to do a spreadsheet of the feature list for the LG?

Cool video however, this guy is clearly a display fanatic and has lost some perspective from a lot/the majority of buyers - at least thats my small opinion.

I've put over 200 hours into the LG 32GS95UE, after upgrading from a budget/mid 1440p 144hz monitor - which I think lots of these buyers will be upgrading from. I was honestly blown away with the monitor, 4k looks amazing and 240hz is a somewhat noticeable difference compared with 144hz... But the difference from 240hz to 480hz was wayyy more than I was expecting. Honestly feels like 75hz to 120hz. I play a lot of competitive games (cs2, overwatch, R6 etc) so this difference is very welcomed. I agree that this would only give you a very small advantage, but the overall feel is better. I've often found myself double checking I was in 240hz mode, after long gaming sessions in 480hz, as 240hz felt 'laggy' and thought I may have been lower... but no. Highly recommend this monitor for you sweaty gamers.

Now I rarely use hdr in games or video and this isn't something I really care about tbh, so I can understand his points about colour brightness if you want this monitor for that.
The deep blacks with WOLED are brilliant, and I haven't had any complaints with the colour, everything looks good to my eyes.
A big surprise, coming from an IPS monitor, was text clarity. I know QD-OLED is even worse but I thought the WOLED would've been better than it is - text just seems a bit more smudged than it should be, but you soon get use to it and isn't a problem after some time - but definitely should be noted.
Now luckily I got this monitor with some discount codes for £950 direct from LG, and think this is probably an ideal price for it - as I personally don't believe its RRP of £1300 is worth it. So make sure you find some discount codes, or maybe check with your employer for any reward schemes.

All in all, if your a competitive gamer who scales down res/quality for more FPS you'll love this monitor - literally a 2 in 1.
I guess if your a monitor nerd (for a lack of a better term) wanting the best colour experience with all the best features and only plays casual games etc... yeah buy something else.

*edit: forgot to mention about the matt coating - it's literally fine. I'm assuming most of us live in houses with windows and hate looking into a mirror when we want to see a computer screen - so I'd happily take a matt screen over looking at my ugly mug.

The Asus cost about 60% more than Dell here in central europe... which makes it an obvious D tier here... The Dell also comes with far superior warranty compared to others, even tho they all come with 3 years, the Dell is the only reliable brand imo!

For me the Gigabyte is clearly better than the Asus.
No DSC in Future for fast alt+tabbing
and APL Stabilize High in SDR Mode possible is HUGE.

As someone who doesn't live in a pitch black cave or my mothers basement I prefer the matt coating on the LG, otherwise I'd be looking at the purple blacks from the QDoleds. better.

Asus Monitor Oled in S tiers ???? without Display port 2.1? stupid Tiers

I write this on every video: the dell is hundreds of pounds cheaper than everything else in most places. I got it for £850. Some of the others are £1500.

idk why people are so upset about getting into "B" tier. all these monitors are considered as S~Atier monitors. they all have similar performance. i guess the only difference will be the customization and extra features they have. my next concern will be warranty reliability, extra features in performance improvement and price during black friday

Bought the Aw3225QF FOR 926€ in Italy and I can say I’m enjoying it every day.

Why when you go on amazon it says only display port 1.4? Asus?

"What happened? Didn't LG pay you to promote their monitor? HAHAHAHAHA

agreed to all tier list.
I think matt coating its only for people that cant manage ambient light and for 1080p monitors that can have some "saw" on the edges of things that can be
attenuated by the matt coating... maybe even 1440p has a little "saw" in some games, but 4K man, Matt coating in 4k is useless.

I got the 321UPX because you recommended it. Pretty good.

Correct me if im wrong but the MSI321URX (A tier) DOES indeed support PiP/PBP. Your description says it does not? Can you verify please?

why should the asus monitor be S tier when it doesnt have DP 2.1 compared to the Aorus monitor

Thank you for the video, I consider you an authority figure when watching your monitoring videos

I don't even own the LG but you are just spreading misinformation at this point. Matte has its use cases and its better in some instances than QD-OLED.

Couldn't agree more about the gloss, I hate matte monitors. I was in Microcenter the other day and they seemed to have all matte monitors out. The Apple Studio Display with its ancient tech and glass panel was CRUSHING the image quality of all the other monitors in store, even the OLED thanks to the matte coatings. The image looked way more three dimensional and punchy through the glass panel.
