As you mentioned, my biggest complaint with 8 gen iPad is the base model is 32 gigs. I get they want to keep prices down, but 32 gigs in 2020 is a joke. 64 gigs should be minimum. Everything else on this iPad looks great!

This is my first ipad and I bought it because I'm a writer and I got so tired of carrying my laptop with me. This this has helped sooo much. It really is like a mini laptop. I don't worry about space too much because my writing syncs with my laptop and phone so I can delete files from one device when I need to

Have just ordered an iPad 8 to throw in my bag, it looks remarkably good value. I really like the bezels, makes it easier to hold, don’t think the New Air is for me at this stage.

I got this as a gift for Christmas and it is really good. All I had was a 5 year old Chromebook so this is a big improvement with a little Bluetooth keyboard. i was blessed to get the 128GB but I am putting everything in the cloud anyway. I definitely like it as a media device and note taker so far. It is perfect to read on and play games as well. Thanks for reviewing it!

Many people on YouTube have been recommending as a replacement to a budget laptop, but none of them have talked about programming and development in general. There is a reason that this iPad exist for certain people. The only thing is the base model low storage. I love my iPad Pro 2020.

I thought apple would ditch the lightning connection, it was after all promoting USB-C before the format had gained traction. That together with the ‘hollow’ sound when you tap the screen, I presume it’s the absence of lamination are minor issues it is well worth the money.
