Apple Intelligence is what Apple is calling its artificial intelligence feature set, previewed at WWDC in June 2024. The first Apple Intelligence features launched with iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, and more has recently been released with iOS 18.2!

There are a selection of Apple Intelligence features that are available now, along with additional capabilities that will be rolling out across the rest of 2024 and 2025.

So I’m trying Google Gemini for iOS and I’ve just updated Siri 18.2 and at present Google just wins hands down for me as it’s more natural and more fluent and seems faster to respond

I’m on an iPhone 15 Pro with Apple Intelligence enabled, yet trying these features they either are “unavailable at this time”, nowhere to be found (missing) or not the same as what is shown here on the video (Siri).

I’m assuming this is because iOS 18.2 is not yet available.

So this is December 22, and I am running iOS 18.2 on iPhone 16 Pro. It’s like 10:30 PM. I asked my phone how long I have to sleep between now and my alarm at 6:30 AM. It completely failed and never knew what to tell me. I went the great lengths to ask the integrated ChatGPT, who thought my current time was like 4:30 AM. IS THAT THE APPLE INTELLIGENCE WE’RE EXPECTING? Hmmm…. 🤔

I use writing tools everyday. Helps out big time. Only problem is I can’t compose on the outlook app. I have to do it on mail, then copy and paste. Not the end of the world but it’s clutch overall. Professional is my most used.

I live in the US, but why is everybody saying that we have features such as Genmoji, image playground, and image search when iOS 18.2 has not been released yet?
