Smsl AD18 Sub Output

How to hook up a subwoofer to an SMSL AD18 amp.

Can you explain to me what is the outpoint of the subwoofer with two inputs left and right? It's just one speaker. Also, with this setup you only connect the right side. Are you losing something ?

I have an active subwoofer from edifier s730d. connected to the output of smsl ad 18 is playing very quietly, you can't hear it almost

Just ordered this amp to pair it with a pair of KEF's 100, in case i want to add a subwoofer later, does it have to be a powered one? This will be my first setup and im really excited. Thanks!

My sub doesn't have any output pin/plugs other than a plain left and right wire hookup clip. How do I connect my smsl ad18, can someone please

why do u use line in instead of LFE?, I have been wondering about what kind of output does the AD18 send thru the subwoofer output. Your subwoofer is a powered one mind explaining why the connection??

I tried this but my sub only gives very weak sounds even it is 12inch.

btw, i see that you connect to only the right channel on the sub. is that sufficient?

I would really like to know more about this. Like does connecting a sub cut the low frequencies from the speakers? if so is the crossover point adjustable? Does changing the volume on the amp also reduce volume on the sub?

hi, I also ordered this AD18 from Aliexpress, I ma little confused abt the sub out but after seeing this video its clear a bit. can you please tell me hat is the cable called ? I figured out that the one end (the sub end) is a RCA, but the other end of the cable ? is it a 3.5 MM male Jack ? please respond
