They didn't catch her quick enough and she was able to avoid the accident, so they put it in reverse and were going to claim that she rearended them. They should have been charged with aggravated battery for hitting her on purpose, they used their car as a weapon.

Did nobody notice the brake lights weren't working? Disconnecting them is a common tactic so when they slam on the brakes the following car doesn't realise until too late. Hats off to this driver for being sharp enough to stop in time.

I was visiting my cousin who is a cop in Miami. We were driving around in his work vehicle, an unmarked suv with front/rear cams and hidden lights in the grill. I was a deputy at the time, so two armed LEO's in an unmarked police vehicle. We were on Hwy 1 heading back to Miami when this car slams the brakes in front of us twice, my cousin avoided a collision the first time but they swung in front of us the second time and we hit them. As they start piling out of the car holding their necks, we just waited... Once all 5 emerged, Cuz hit the reds & blues and we stepped out showing our badges. The look on their faces? Priceless! The driver jumped back into the car and tried to take off but our brushguard was entangled with their bumper. A couple of the others took off and he arrested the two that stayed. So friggin dumb...just idjits

911 operator said if the other party refused to give insurance the police would respond. I would have been like "Ok great well then I'm going to refuse to give my insurance information to the other party, but I will gladly give it to the police. Please send them out."

I work in auto bodily injury claims for an insurance company. This is called a swoop and squat. The reason for the red car is that they need an "independent" witness to say the vehicle rear ended the front vehicle.
