The worst part about this? He didn't force people to follow him, that is just the sad state of social media and the broken mindset of glorifying extreme waste.

He didn’t crave wealth, he craved attention and recognition

I'm just a regular guy and I learned a long time ago never be flashy on social media... Whenever you go to a retail store or a big business one thing you will notice is that you never see the boss!!

Some of these scammers work so hard and are so innovative, that if they were to invest all that energy into producing something useful for others, they’d be richer for longer

If someone truly has that much money, and they've worked hard for it, yet still find the need to seek affirmation online from strangers - there is something deeply unsettled within them. Sharing one's passion with others, such as music or writing is a wonderful thing to do; however, I never understand this hype/flex culture. There is nothing appealing about it.

How people couldn't tell he was a scammer is a mystery. Rich people try to be under cover, not blink blink.

Our parents always tell us to chew with our mouth closed. This guy missed that lesson.

As a software engineer- scamming is extremely easy to do. But principals, morality and fear of jail stops me from ever doing it.

Honestly seeing this guy all happy from other people's misery is Disgusting!

My dad was an ambassador when I was a kid. I traveled the world, had dinners with foreign dignitaries, etc as a kid. Believe me, the people with real money overseas do not want the attention on themselves. They keep tight social circles for a reason and security is everywhere, especially when you don't think they are.

He needed to feel the validation from other people.

And that was his downfall.

This story is too close to home. It's usually dozens involved in one scam. Because when you bust one there's 24 or more people in the same scam that person's connected too.

This crazy story deserves a real TV Drama.

This documentary is very objective and does not paint the entire society as bad people unlike what others have done in the past.
