I love your humility.  You don't try and sell yourself and a know-it-all pro.  I'm very appreciate of your willingness to teach us!

I think this has easily just become my new favorite go-to photography channel. What has taken me dozens+ of videos on other channels to sift through and try to piece together you have given me and then some in the 2-1/2 I have watched! THANK YOU!

Have seen quite a few tutorial video's here but this is the best one for me. It pin points all the truly basic and important steps for quality photography but in a very modest way. No time wasting jokes, flashy photos or video's and is presented in plain easy to understand English. Sharing information these days is the only way we all can advance and improve ourselves.

Much appreciated for sharing your experience and knowledge. Hope people will follow your advice to master the techniques. Keep up with your good work.

I am a first time camera user !!! Was taking lessons (1 on 1) but that fizzed out....Searched on Google for tutorials and came across this video. I came across some others as well, ONLY the person giving the lecture spoke to fast and jumped from one mode to the next and I was taught me last night about aperture, ISO and shutter speed....THANK YOU SO MUCH...b.t.w I LOVE

I must say that I really enjoyed the sincerity and encouragement you gave. Certainly gave me food for thought because I like to shoot just about anything. But would like to focus on wedding and portraiture work. Thanks.

Outstanding presentation. My favorite steps: Admit I love photography. Become a student of light. The others are important, but when you spoke these two, they resonated more strongly. I also watched your presentation on Aperture, shutter speed and ISO. Thank you so much for doing these. I'm even more inspired and motivated.

You are by far, THE best tutor I have learned from so far. Not to mention you are easy on the eyes. I look forward to seeing more.

Thank you, Sean I studied parts(1.) and (2.) and now this video-clip. Easily explained, and now... the 'practice'. Great-stuff.

it helps us beginner photographers to know that someone that has done this for 3 years, is still learning and applying what you learn to your ventures. I have always loved a flaming hot, sunset..love to do sunset shots. I know there is more to photography, I am still feeling out what i want to do though. I also love taking pictures of birds (cardinals seem to be the subjects lol) and cloud shots. I love going for that "heavenly" look in the clouds, the sun works well with those. I just bought an 8 year old camera, rebel xti. I am spoiled to my point and shoot, so it's very difficult for me to stay on the Canon LOL. But, I do only because I want to better my photos. I wish to make it one day to where it looks like my photos were Photoshopped! when they are really, untouched. :)

I already admitted that I really love photography.
And since then I'll never stop and continue this kind of hobby though I'm not yet that professional.

I just wanted to say thank you for the advice and sincerly great admiration from you sir.
As what number 6 of ways stated, I should have to admire other professional photographer and continue to study their learning process and get some spiral progression knowledge. And that is you sir.
Thank you for this video. I appreciate it and now realize how photography blows my mind and seeing how broad is the thing to understand and study it.
Thank you again and GOD bless.

I hardly comment on Photography videos on Youtube, because it's mainly opinions and preferences sold as laws. However, this is really awesome. Short, punchy and relatable. Wel done man! I agree with each and everyone of your 10 Points.

Very well done. I appreciated the comments about photo editing software and which aspects were the most important to adjust for beginners like me (white balance, exposure, contrast).
