Is your olive oil real or fake? || Test at home #shorts @DiscoveringNatural

Hi family, this is a test to proof the purity of extra virgin olive oil as claimed on the label. I use Costco’s Kirkland signature brand of extra virgin olive oil for my hair and cooking as well. It did solidify after 48hrs of refrigeration which makes it a 100% pure olive oil according to the test. Basically, you’ll have to keep the oil in the refrigerator for at least 48hrs or more and if it completely solidifies, that means it’s real olive oil. Do test yours also and be sure you’re getting value for money. Thanks for watching.

Olive oil as a plant oil would naturally have a certain amount of wax in it and the wax content may varies from the cultivars of the olive oil, the oil doesnt need to be completely frozen to be proven its real, natural plant oil is like this, the whole oil being frozen just shows the particular wax content in it is very high, it doesnt mean that there is mixed oil in your olive oil if it doesnt completely freeze, some commercial olive oil company chooses to dewinterize their oil which is a procese that helps remove the wax in olive oil in order to help the oil maintain a fluid state during colder temperatures such as in winter, thats why some olive oil doesnt freeze at all, it is more of a myth using this method to test purity, as all plant oil naturally have certain amount of wax in them, peanut oil can be completely frozen too in colder temperature, please do your research

I tested that oil twice, the 2019 and 2022 produce, both failed the fridge test. The California one passed the test
