I have a 14 minute video that's 4.08GB. It got compressed down to 3.28 GB. That's still too big.

This does not work. I followed the exact instructions but I ended up with an output file that was only audio. All my footage had disappeared. I noticed you started with a .avi file and went to MP4. I started with MP4 and went to MP4 still. So that makes no sense that my end result was audio only.
