AFTER EFFECTS 2020 CRASHES ON STARTUP! [HOW TO FIX AE 2021]

After Effects not responding and crashes on start-up? It's very annoying and it was happening to me as well! I managed to find the problem and fix it, so I made a quick tutorial on how to do it, for you! I hope this helps :D

I didn't want to disable my display adapter or something out of fear of crashing something, especially since this is a very new laptop lol...

Ever since I did this fix, my After Effects is working smoothly and it doesn't even crash mid-way often like it used to before, resulting in me always losing my projects and progresses.

This is absolutely friggin' genius! Thanks, that helped a lot! I am using 3rd party plug-ins, so the program was crashing because of some of them, and as soon as I removed "Genuine verifier", everything started working again.

not the same issue, my issue was that if i leave it running in the background for 5-10 seconds it would close itself, but this fix also worked for me!!! i'm so amazed by this, by how one fix could solve 2 problems. thank you so much man you saved me the immense amount of time i would've lost that would have been caused if i tried downloading another ae version. thanks a lot.
