Russia moves thousands of troops to defend Kursk region

Russia has moved thousands of troops towards its Kursk region - according to the White House - as Ukrainian forces continue their incursion in Russia.

Kyiv says it is now in control of some 82 Russian settlements and has appointed a military commander to oversee the area.
