Myositis Journey: from Diagnosis to Management

This presentation focuses on the diagnosis and management of myositis, a rare autoimmune illness. Types of myositis, effect on muscles and other organs such as the lungs and the heart, autoantibody testing, treatments, and current research are addressed.

The presenter, Rohit Aggarwal, MD, MS, is medical director of the Arthritis and Autoimmunity Center, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and co-director of the University of Pittsburgh’s Myositis Center.
