A 45 min Japan vlog from Zane is all I wanted for a Tuesday afternoon

We love Osaka. We have been twice. And are going back again for Christmas. 🎄. The difference in Osaka and Tokyo. In Tokyo you could ask someone on the street for help and they will ignore you. People keep to themselves. In Osaka, more than once we were standing on a corner looking lost and people that didn’t even speak English would stop and try to help. I just love the people of Osaka.

This is one of your best videos so far. Always been a pleasure to travel through your perspective; you have the way to transmit all these things in a very profound form, like tasting streetfood or the excitement for playing. That and the addition from Bambi, idk you seem more happy and it’s great because the content feeling too. PLS MORE LIKE THIS. ❤

Haven’t had the opportunity to get to Osaka yet but have been to many smaller Southern Japanese cities. From what I’ve heard from friends Osaka is a mix of the laid back feeling of southern Japan with the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.

So I think that’s why you like it. Definitely a must for me on my next Japan trip. Glad you guys enjoyed it!

Osaka is more relaxed and the people are friendlier but there’s more things to do that I like in Tokyo

Osaka was my favourite city of all cities in Japan. It's big and diverse but not too spaced out like Tokyo. It's not too crowded like Tokyo except for Dotonbori and touristy areas. It's got very laid-back vibes compared to Tokyo. Still many amazing food options, like Tokyo. The people are friendlier and more laid back than in Tokyo.

I love love Osaka. The Swissotel Nankai Hotel located directly above Namba Station is a great place to stay if you're visiting the Dotobori area mainly. Thanks for taking us along!

In both Osaka and Tokyo, there are restaurants that offer "all you can drink" and "all you can eat". These restaurants have a time limit of about three hours and are all-you-can-eat. They mainly serve meat dishes such as yakiniku and shabu-shabu, but they also serve seafood such as sushi. There is also a system where you can drink all you want alcohol for an additional 2, 000 yen. I think these "all you can drink" and "all you can eat" options are probably unique to Japan, so please look it up and give it a try.

I love that you try everything even if you don't end up liking it at least you tried them first, that's the spirit.

I eat shrimp but I acknowledge that it's kinda weird. Hard to go to Osaka and not eat seafood. Great tour of the city, thanks for sharing this with us. BTW, I think it's great you're filming with Bambi, it's nice seeing a travel companion.

You should start going to random places to eat vs “TikTok” popular or instagram famous places. Makes it more authentic vs touristy feeling

In Japan, there are no casinos, but instead we have "pachinko." It's not obvious from the outside, but unlike game centers, people silently play pachinko at pachinko machines. There are always several pachinko parlors in busy areas. The inside of the stores is extremely noisy. You win by collecting a large number of small silver iron balls (pachinko balls). At the back of the store, there is a place where you can exchange the silver iron balls for cash. Since most people exchange them for cash, it is essentially a casino. In Japan, they are like legal casinos. In Japan, horse racing, bicycle racing, boat racing, and auto racing are gambling, and there are also pachinko, mahjong, etc. These are legal.
