📈 Discover the Perfect Timeframe for Day Trading! What is the best timeframe for day trading? What timeframe should you trade? Most charting platforms will provide you with multi-timeframe analysis ranging all the way from monthly or weekly charts down to minutely and tick charts. You can use higher timeframes to look at the bigger picture and work your way down on lower timeframes.

The video discusses the best time frame for day trading.
The presenter recommends a top-down approach, starting with a daily chart to understand the bigger picture and market structure.
After analyzing the daily chart, traders can move to either a 60-minute or 15-minute chart to get a more detailed view.
The presenter suggests that going lower than a one-minute chart for execution is a mistake, and one minute is ideal for executing trades.
Traders should use the daily chart to guide them throughout the day, keeping a balance between higher and lower time frames for a more comprehensive view of the market.

I've day traded for quite sometime in the last 11 years and no longer trading as frequent as before but these timeframes have been my permanent set up....DAILY, HIOURLY and FIVE MINUTE (execution timeframe).

Hi there. I coundnt crack day trading and frankly dont want to be glued to the market all day. I use the daily for position sizing and the weekly as confirmation.

would you then be doing the majority or your charting, as in price patterns/fibs on the 60/15 chart then? and then dropping down to the candlestick patterns on the 5/3...for example. I get a little confusted as to which charts are best for which tools.

Could you do one also for swing trading 🎉

No offense, but if you were successful at trading you wouldn’t have the need to start doing social media. The idea of doing both also doesn’t make much sense as you mentioned you don’t have nearly as much time now for trading. Makes sense to want to get into something more consistent than trading. Good video though.

do it while you sleep, so you don't have to watch the blood empty slowly from your veins. Set it forget it and don't ever use stops. You think I'm kidding? Nope. There is no such thing as a long term professional trader who does nothing else to feed himself.
