Great video! You should do a video on how to use SQX to generate multi time frame strategies where signal is on daily and entry is on a lower time frame.

why did you choose dollar value targets for the calculations of what you will capture from each timeframe? surely you should base it on target % gains?

This theory is not correct . We can increase the lot size to decrease the distance it has to move to hit TP . Hence we can make 200 in a single bar of 5 minute . Its all about pip value 10 pip move can make 1 dollar or 10 dollar depending on the lot size

So what is the conclusion? See which TF can be obtained the same profit target per day in the smallest bars? The formula is Min(PT/ATR(20)/0.3/0.7), is it? Then it seems that the bigger ATR(20), the corresponding TF is more suitable for trading. According to this logic, why not use a TF of 1 month or more, because the corresponding ATR (20) ATR under 1month TF is much larger than TF 1day. What's wrong with my understanding?
Choosing the right TF is indeed a matter of great concern to me at the moment.
What I currently understand is that for beginners in algorithmic trading, don't use TF under 15 minutes for the time being. Generally, 30min, 1hour, and 1day TF are recommended.
At present, I use SQ builder to build strategies in 30min, 1hour, and 1dayTF respectively, and compare which is more effective and profitable. This is very time-consuming. In fact, in most cases, a TF is randomly selected.
If you can roughly know which TF is the most profitable to choose by simply comparing the ATR(20) under different TFs of a certain symbol before building a strategy, then it really helps me a lot.But after watching this video, I still don’t seem to find the answer
