Surviving Horta & other must-do in Faial, Azores. #105

Because when one lands in Horta after a Transatlantic crossing, certain things ought to be done, we happily oblige. We go have the drinks at Peter's sports café, paint our Polar Seal mural on the walls of Horta harbor, and most importantly.... I try to survive while going far out of my comfort zone.

We're finally out of quarantine, and it is time to enjoy some land-based activities after over two weeks at sea!

All seals are fat - it keeps them warm in the water (espcially Polar ones:-))! Yours was a really good painting. I'm not supersticious either but it's rather striking/scarey/spooky to see that painting next to you though. I suppose we never know what the future holds! The roads didn't look that bad, but perhaps worse on a scooter :-)! Love the charisma and joy de vivre (sorry!) in your videos!

Hi guys, I am watching you since a while. I think your channel was the first one, what I started to follow, and still watching week by week. There are lots of things why I prefer your channel compared with others. Just a simple example, like, when Ryan take care and made his explanations about AVsafety turn to your daily rutine (we are almost collagues, so I could understand his mind). Today, watching this episode, I just realized that third flag so familiar. Looks like doesn't matter where we go or what we do, always find an another hungarian. Was such a surprise for me, at least. I didn't know Anett was Hungarian. I am Hungarian living in New Zealand. Sorry Sophie for the misleading French name (Alouette). It was the name of our Beneteau 411.
