Ok so, the books that were chosen to form the Bible, where chosen in an ecumenical council. Ecumenical councils were held only by direct order of the Byzantine empiror. In ecumenical councils the church fathers sat down for extended periods of time and along with prayers, they decided which books are ok and which are not. What is the problem with this fact and why cliff didn't mention it? It is because the Byzantines were orthodox catholics. That confirms the orthodox are the original christians and they have this major authority that no other church or denomination (heresy) has.

That's not the right answer, that's a circular answer.
Those apocryphal gospels are not real not because they contradict the real gospel, but because they are fake. They were written hundreds of years later, not apostles.

The answer "because they contradict the real gospel" begs the question "why is the real gospel real", and the answer is not related to their content, but their source: the real gospel writers who wrote and lived at the time of Jesus.

Yeh they didn’t line up with the gospel so they aren’t gospels at all. Oral tradition predates scripture. Plus, most of them were written super late

I don’t have a view on additional gospels but Jesus did teach the spiritual was superior to the physical; John 6:63.

I disagree. A group of men appointed by the state and Catholics does not dictate what I should or shouldn't read. If you want to follow the mainstream library of books for Christians and Jesus followers you would know that, "whatever goes into the body does not defile you" so it doesn't matter if you take care of your body or the earth. Yes it's good, but that's not the point. This natural body we have and earth we live on is temporary and full of sin. The gnostics accepted Christ and believed that he rose from death. The Catholic crusades came and murdered the Gnostics and they fully accepted their fate by jumping into the flames willingly, because they fully knew that this physical life is not what they live for, but the spiritual life they have later. Please read about these martyrs for Christ.

Cliff, is constantly preaching the TEACHING, of salvation, which is not the gospel.
