Very impressive! My one and only true wish that I have...and I know its probably asking for the moon...but if, If, IF the major tool manufacturers could all come together (like the hippies did back in the 60's) and standardize the batteries on all brands of tools...oh, what a glorious world it would be! Just imagine, one battery to work in your Dewalt, your Skill, your Ryobi, your Makita....a one battery world!! Just imagine! One style batter and charger...asking for too much?? I think not!!! Great video as always! 👍👍

I'm a HUGE Ridgid Fan. I have over 100 tools registered. That being said, they need to change the name for this tool. Without the interchangeable heads this is NOT a MULTI tool. Also, what's with the "On Off" switch and the speed dial? A simple variable speed trigger gives you all the control you need without having to deal with a switch. And lastly...What's the deal with the mousetrap? If you don't know how to keep your fingers out of the way you don't need to be around SAWS! :) I was really excited about buying this new tool but as soon as I realized there are no MULTI tool accessories, it's a NO GO!

For someone in the field, that Jobmax is the most versatile tool ever. Love that thing!

Good video and the Multi Tool seems like a properly good change to the previous model. What would be nice if there was a more detailed explanation of the batteries. I mean are the Max Output batteries 18650 or 21700 and are they the same/better/worse than the Octane line batteries. Obviously Ridgid will say the Max battery is better, But are they really better and if so, What makes them better.
A video with a comparison chart would make this easy to understand.
And, YES we are well aware of the interchangeability of the batteries and the warranty.
A ACTUAL comparison chart of what makes the Max a better battery is what I am asking.
Thanks

I just found your channel and really like it. I’ve been an owner of ridgid tools for many years and kept wondering when they were going to update their tool line up and I was seeing on another channel that they wasn’t, glad I ran across your channel.

The blade lock is may not on the Level of Fein, Bosch and Festool Starlock but its better than the new Milwaukee ones

on my second one, like most switch broke on fist one. second one the switch worked good longer then the first, when it started to get tight and i had to start forcing it with both thumbs, i took it apart and theres a metal tension thingy that keeps switch arm in place, i bent it just a hair. Now I been having zero issues with sliding the switch on/off.

Gave all of my Ryobi to my nephew as their new battery conversion didn’t work on my older tools as advertised.
Switched over to ridigid and haven’t looked back. Great tools

Clint I'm sure you notice the issue with the variable speed switch braking off in some cases that's switch needs to be redesigned ! #tramridgid make it happen

After using my oscillating Ridgid religiously for months I only have one complaint. The speed button is in an area where it'll get turned down so you have to check to make sure it's cranked up to six.

Can you use the old style octane chargers either Max Output batteries?

Clint, would you recommend this over the ryobi? I have both batteries but the the issue I have with ridgid tools is that they are way heavier than others and would take a toll on someone using them all day on a remodeling project.

So why did they get rid of the interchangeable heads do you have any info on that, this is the main reason why I bought the job max Instead of another brand

Any news on an orbital sander. When that gets updated I'll make the move to ridgid
