Even though the English translations for UI do talk about "calm" I think "detached" is probably a better framing. In UI, the user is unexcitable, a pure observer, not even attached to their own self and so able to let go and have the body take over. In UE, it's the opposite - you have clung to the essential self to the exclusion of all else- UI is Ego Death, UE is the opposite.

I wonder if UE will continue on with "The more I'm hit the stronger I am" or will it evolve into "The better the fight, the stronger I get, " or something like that. He references specifically the "battle lust" so I'm wondering if he just views a back and forth trading of blows to fuel it now, but will later become something more along the lines a feeling about the actual battle. Like UE will bring him up to the level of his opponent for the sake of making the fight enjoyable.
