I like neon regardless of what you say... Looks are great for a car even if it doesn't deliver performance... AS LONG AS ITS NOT TO LOOK LIKE IT DELIVERS PERFORMANCE like the fake hood scoops etc.

I would not say carbon fiber wrap is rice, sometimes black looks boring so you need to have a texture on it.

I like tastefully-done hood scoops, even if they are non-functional.  Most factory hood scoops are fine, like the one on your old GT.  Most aftermarket scoops end up looking like fuck, though, so I guess that does make it a shitty "upgrade".  But there are definitely worse mods than these, as none of these actually make the car any less functional or safe.  Tire Stretching, extreme camber, cutting stock springs, HIDs in standard housings, plastic caliper covers, and my personal favorite: blacked-out brake lights.

Great video, but just to let you know. The 03-04 Mach 1's hood scoop wasn't for cooling. It's called a shaker scoop, and it is an air intake for the engine. It was completely functional.

I put a fart can and turbo whistle on my Yugo, and covered the whole car in carbon fiber tape. The next time I hit the accelerator, I rocketed into low earth orbit, where I am now stranded. Could someone call NASA for me and ask them to come rescue me? The WiFi signal sucks up here.

This list is terrible.  The worst things you can do for your car make your car worse, rather than just being things some other guy doesn't find aesthetically pleasing.

How do you leave out people chopping springs to lower their car?  That shit is everywhere.  Who considers tape an upgrade?  Is faux carbon fiber tape worse than faux carbon fiber interior plastic pieces?  No, not really.  Why only include tape?  What about painting hoods or roofs black to look like carbon fiber from a distance ... kinda the same thing, right?  Some people will ruin their car's suspension to make it look lower, and that's a way worse "upgrade for your car."

How do you leave out the fad of negative camber even on cars that aren't drifted?  But you leave neon lights in?  No one thinks neon lights help the car do anything, some people actually think ruining their tires helps the car turn better.

You include a turbo exhaust tip that does nothing for/against the car, but you don't include heavy bodywork that as often as not (with the cheap body work market) destroys the aerodynamics of the car and add weight?  You can include just for show spoilers in that or separate them.

There's more ... there's a lot more.  It's like you just wanted to complain about kids who are excited about personalizing their first car.  That's fine, man, do that.  But, these aren't the worst things they can do.  And as far as affronts to car culture, how about including fake car badges, and not even just fake ones, combinations that never existed, like the world famous M designed Hondas, the Type R Toyotas, and the STi Fords....

Personally, I'd rather see people talking about kid's buying a car that already performs well stock (like old school Type Rs, or more modern Evos, STi's or M series) and getting after market parts that reduce performance.
