One key feature that nobody seems to share is that you can convert the automatic softener dispensing reservoir as a second detergent reservoir. I think that’s huge, since the automatic dispenser capacity is lower than others. I never use fabric softener, anyway (I use wool dryer balls). ALSO, you can adjust the default amount of automatic dispensing to accommodate water softness/hardness. I do wish I had looked a little bit harder at the Electrolux, but I am loving these elegant units. I’m nota fan of the usual pregnant look of front load machines! I’m very happy with my purchase! They don’t look as deep/large as I thought they would, either.

Just got these exact washer/dryer 2 months ago! It is awesome, I will say some people will maybe "complain" about them being a "little" loud? It was not something that really bothered me....but our last LG front loaders (had them 9-10 years before ONLY our washer kapooted) were quieter. We also got the small washer pedistal too!

The new models have more capacity but they feel that a teaspoon of water will clean 150lbs of cloths so you can’t fill the drum more than half full. Otherwise the cloths won’t get clean.

I have Samsung 's Bespoke set, and your comparison is based on the high-end model of the LG and the low-end model of the Samsung Bespoke washer... The high-end Samsung Bespoke has an automatic dispenser for fabric softener and detergent.

How does the all stainless steel paddles in the drum clean vs the plastic paddles? Will it still lift the clothes or just glide under it?

I wonder if this is as worthless as the LG high efficiency top loader I just bought. Great to have all those cycles and options, except when the programmers at LG think you're too stupid to be able to customize them. Why can't you use extra rinse on every cycle? Why can't you adjust spin speed and temperature on every cycle? Why did my LG top loader bury my clothes in water when my 10-year-old whirlpool Cabrio high efficiency top loader was far more water efficient and got the clothes cleaner?
