Don't miss this sale!... Sydney Grace Review & Recommendations

Hey guys! It is time for one of my FAVORITE makeup sales of the year- the Sydney Grace Christmas in July sale! I am in LOVE with Sydney Grace eyeshadows and if ever there was a time to try them this is it! Today I am sharing with you my thoughts on two of the new palettes Sydney Grace released in collaboration with Temptalia, as well as some swatches of some singles that I recently picked up (LOVE her single Mattes and Pressed Pigments!) Just an FYI...Christine said that she has a love of the solar system so that's where a lot of the names come from. Magellan is extra special because it's named for her dog that she recently lost....thats also the reason for Heart Dog.

If you do a soft neutral and/or pink upper lid, and then put a narrow swatch of "Celestial Bloom" on the lower lid, smoke it out a little, maybe deepen the outer corner just a few mm in with the black for dimension, that would look amazing, and I think you would find it wearable!!

Hi MandyLee - I blame you for my getting all three of the Temptalia palettes - and also when I found out I could easily depot the palettes - it made it a wonderful deal so I can create my perfect palettes with these and my other Sydney Grace singles. I really love the colors in these palettes when deconstructed - so amazing! I think a lot more people are realizing this. Mel Thompson did a video where she remixed the palettes and I knew I had to get all three. By the way, I always take note of the single shadows you get because I love your esthetics and it jives with my own. I just also learned that I am a big fan of jewels tones when it comes to colors.

I ordered the Quitessenance Light and ON the Horizon light today and go the new Coffee Talk Deep free. I wanted light for the Coffee Talk, but I will pick that up next payday. Her shadow formula is outstanding. I AGREE!

Because you have SO hyped Sydney Grace shadows, I bought all three of those pallettes in light. Now I'm making my list for singles. OH MY GOSH those shadows are MAGIC! I'm so thrilled to have them.

I made an order before the sale and it was refreshing to have all the singles in stock and I got a 9 pan palette. I’ll wait for other sales this week to maybe get a palette. Oh, and you can remove these palette pots with a magnet and make your own custom palette. Would love to see you do 7 looks with your entire SG collection.

I have been pairing my Temptalia palettes with my old bh duo chrome highlighter palette and using the highlights as my inner corner shade.

I have been stalking their site since yesterday then I remembered your previous videos and re-watched them. I used the quad pairing ideas you had and tweaked them a little with some of my likings. I wanted to qualify for the new Coffee Talk palette but I didn't want to duplicate similar neutrals I was going to because so I found other colors to make another "quad" and that put me over the free palette edge and I am getting neutrals and transition shades! Yay! Thanks Mandy for your inspiration! 😊

I got one of the Temptalia pallets and it is gorgeous! I love jewel toned shadows! But even though I am drawn to jewel colors, I don’t want to put them all over my lids. I use them by switching them out every day for my outer V of the eye. One day I use blue, another green, the next day purple etc. That way I shear them out and they are not quite so bold. I know I am in the minority but I don’t see why people will use Yellow, Orange or Red eyeshadows but are nervous to use blue shadows. But I love that we all have different tastes with makeup! I have a few shades from sydney grace that I just swatch to look at but never have worn... but oh, I love to ohh and ahh over them -- especially Flannel.
