the cleaning filter one is the one that decided it for me. it's like as soon as a heater gets dusty inside it's time to get another one cause it's not like you can go inside and clean a regular heater.

The Atom 1 is excellent. Glad I researched different space heaters available and didn't just buy one that was available locally. Walmart sells the Atom 1 and it's a few cents cheaper there than on Amazon.

It is not a "spear" or more properly a sphere. It's a cylinder.
