I have a Dreo heater that's almost identical - just different symbols on the buttons. It works well except for one thing - when you start it up in a cold room, below 55 degrees, it screeches like a banshee for a minute or two before quieting down.

It's 22 degrees outslide right now and this space heater only heated my garage up to 66 degrees when it was turned up to 84 degrees. So it will be replaced with something better.

I just received this. Can I bypass the 30 second countdown when shutting off by just tapping twice? I do not care for this feature because it just blows cool air which defeats the purpose of heating up the area.

What if you simply want to set the temperature at a comfortable 74 degrees and you simply want the heat to come on again once the room temperature has dropped below 74 degrees? How do you do that? I’m having a hard time reading the instructions right now because of my diabetes and it has blurred mu eyes real bad that I can’t read the instructions and my heater has just got to me yesterday.
