"Dreo Heaters Review: Solaris Max + Atom
I hate being cold...is there anyone else out there who agrees with me? I know it's not very efficient to always turn the thermostat up, so that's where I like to have a space heater handy. I recently hit up Amazon to see what's new and found two heating options from Dreo. In this review, I will take a look at the larger Dreo Solaris Max Fan Heather, and the more compact Dreo Atom One to see what they can do. We will also see how they run, what differentiates them from each other, and if I think they're a good option if you need a 'space heater'.

Dreo heaters review: Solaris Max
Let's start with the Solaris Max: This heater stands about 2 feet tall with a small 8-inch footprint and has around 1500 watts of power. It would be equally at home on the floor, or a piece of furniture. There's a control panel on the front and comes with a small remote control. Additionally, it also has a convenient carrying handle in the back.

The Atom One
The Atom One is only about 10 inches tall and has a 5-inch base that is definitely made for tabletop use. It has 1500 watts of power, plus a small LED display, and even a carrying handle and remote. This version also has a removable dust filter at the back.

How fast is heating time?
In my testing with both Dreo heaters, I noticed that they warmed up rather quickly, in about 3-4 seconds each, and even the heating is almost instant which I think is great.

Warmth Cone
So how well do these heaters kick out warmth? Dreo says that the cone of heat for the Solaris Max is about 10 feet, while for the Atom it wasn't declared.

Overall review: Dreo space Heaters (Portable Heaters)
Overall, I found these heaters to be pretty good. They have a nice design, I like the small footprint each one has as well. They heat up fast and are extremely quiet, which is a great feature. They have a good amount of basic features and remote control.
Downsides? You will need to place these closer to where you are sitting if you want to feel the warmth, but they will be able to warm up the ambient temperature in any room they're in.

Overall, these radiator heaters work great and seem quite affordable for their wattage and power range. The larger Solaris Max sells for about $84 USD and $180 CAD, while the Atom sells for about $50 USD and $89 CAD. In short, I recommend these two Dreo heaters to you during the long, cold winters!

Amazon has a new upgraded one with 25" tall and a bit more powerful at 11.5 ft/s heat output. This one is 11 ft/s and 24" tall. So it's like version 2 of the same model.

Hello Erin. I have not tried the Dreo heaters yet. I say yet because I am thinking about buying the taller one.
I have used the Dreo Nomad fan during the summer and I was very pleased with it.
Thank you for a great review as always.

The bigger unit, does put out a lot of heat, but only close up...like you mentioned in you have to be within a few feet of them to feel the heat. It does dissipate quickly. If there was a way to increase the air flow, it sure could be a much better space heater. Outside of that, I fully agree with everything you said about the units.

I brought this heater looking at the impressive reviews but really disappointed. The eco mode- where you can set the temp works poorly. I turned it on and set the temp 4 degrees above ambient temp but the heater did not come on. I increased the temp 2 more degrees and it came on but turned off within 5 mins. The room temp was unchanged! Called their support and they agreed the thermostat is not perfect and its working as designed. Also, the fan sucks, so you can only feel the heat if you are right next to it. I have a Lasko since 10 years and that works flawlessly! You cannot use this heater when sleeping.

Does it also heat up the room. If yes, how long does it take to overall heat the room?

Cool review! Bravo! Question: What is the heat discharge temp in Fahrenheight in ECO mode (41-95) and H1-3 modes? I don't see this spec in the user manual, on the Dreo website, or anywhere else -- except one reviewer used a thermo-gun and measured a heat discharge (output) of 175-degrees. Is this correct?

Can you tell me about how far away you can be away from the Solaris Max and still feel the heat? For example, can you feel the heat from 3 feet away? Thanks.
