Is the Buick Envista better than a Honda Civic? #testdrive

Buick came strong with this cuv. It looks expensive and it’s reasonably priced unlike most other car brands including Toyota.

Buick is the only American brand car I drive but I’m a Toyota fan and Honda type of dude since they are the most reliable.

I'd DEFINITELY drive this over a Civic. And i like the new Civic. This looks like a luxury car.

I decided against getting one, solely because its a brand new engine/drive train, and the 3cylinder turbo 1.2L engine has no right being used in these larger cars like the chevy trax and the envista.

When i test drove it, it spun the tires, but it was all from the transmission downshifting (at the worst times and super frequently)

Also look into how often trax's have been throwing rods through crankcases, catastrophic engine failure much.

Its a nice box but they should have used a 4cyl

This has 130 horsepower, lol civic hybrid has 200 with 232 pound feet of torque with 50 miles per gallon. Not even a comparison

Hell no it is not better than a civic. A Civic will last 300, 000 miles. If you get 100, 000 miles out of this teenie weenie engine, count your blessings 🙏🙏

I just test drove one, was not impressed, back view in mirror sucks, under powered, i will say it is very nice looking, i have a 2022 hrv with 6800 miles on it ill keep that. Not budging on the price
