My friend Joel Webbon often says, “Our assignment is by designment.” Birds and fish aren’t just creatures that happen to be good at flying and swimming. No, they were designed to fly and swim. The same principle can be applied to men and women. God has biologically, physiologically, emotionally, and mentally designed men and women for their unique gender-specific duties and roles. We live in a society that hates distinction but we must trust that our design as a man or woman is good and, therefore, we must seek the assignments that our reflect our design.
