I had a woke friend of my mothers pull that shit a few weeks ago. Today she called me to fix her car. I said "you told me you can so anything a man can do so fix it i can have it fixed in under an hour but lets see if you can do better." Well not only did i hear her flip out now my mother is pissed at me for not losing my free time and working on her car for FREE! if she brings to a shop it will be over 2000 for the repair. My husband was a driller on an oil rig for over 13 years. Theres no way I could do his job. I swear he’s super human. He worked in ANY AND ALL kind of weather. Worked sicker than a dog, worked with broke bones and abscessed teeth even! God I love my man! So glad he works an easier job. He’s still a blue collar man. He lays asphalt now so its not a walk in the park but he says it’s way easier than the oilfield. He misses it though. If they start drilling gas in our area again he said he would go back. These type of men are matchless. I’m so blessed and proud to be an oilfield wife!

I was an ironworker connector for many years I hung steel across the U.S. state to state building America climbing and riding steel hundreds of feet in the air. I was a proud hard worker working for my 2 oldest kids as a single father but now that I'm old everything hurts, sometimes I can Barely hold a cup or steering wheel. I get slack because I grunt when I get up from sitting down or roll off the bed and struggle to get up but all those people nomatter how much I tell them what I did for a living.... seem to not understand.... I played with death daily and broke my back and here I am still.... never have been and never will be rich!😢 Thanks for the respect 🙏. You are correct, most of the men in my family Are Blue collar workers and veterans. Steel iron workers, plumbers, HVAC, electricians roofers. Hard, dangerous work. My son is an iron Steel worker. On different occasions, company hired two women for welding and lifting rebar they DID'NT have to walk the iron beams up high stayed in shop..Both lasted only a week! All in my family worked through the covid lockdown because they were considered essential Workers.WE all ALWAYS knew that! THANKS!TO THE BLUE collars, who are the backbone of this country !!❤❤❤

My husband was a commercial hard hat diver for 33 years and every time he drove his truck into our yard and walked in, I was grateful and you can bet I didn’t complain about cooking him dinner or changing the kids’ diapers. Feminism destroys marriages but we never let it destroy ours.
