The secret differences in PS5 models

With the PS5 1000 from 2020, PS5 1100 from 2021, PS5 1200 from 2022 and the new PS5 Slim 2000 there are actually real differences inside you might not notice.

I have the best one imo, the 1200 model. Not a huge fan of the slim so I'm glad I was able to get the 1200 before they stopped selling it lol

This is why with anything that first comes out. (Even a new car) it’s best to wait for the company to work out the kinks. I’m glad I didn’t get it right away. I love the slim that I got!

I used to have the 1200 and man, it really really failed on me, had it for about a year and no problem, then all of a sudden playing any ps5 game would cause it to turn off. I know this can be an overheating issue caused by dust but that just wasn’t the case. Kept it in a clean environment, constantly dusted the interior for weeks and to no avail, and whenever it would just off it never said it was overheating. I have since given my friend the ps5 and it has not given him any issues. Very odd situation, still not quite sure what the problem was. Anyways I got the slim and I’ve had no issues.

I have the newest version and I’m really glad cuz my friend has the older ps5 and it’s loud. I can never hear mine unless I’m listening next it like listening for a heart beat.

the slim looks so good in comparison to the others. much more streamlined with the 4 panels compared to the basic two panel. it gives it character. and its smaller with a much better fitting collar than the big ones
