All PS5 Model comparison The CFI-1200 PS5 is said to have updated radio equipment inside of it, but don't expect any external changes.. the 1000 series launch ps5 digital console weight is 8.4 pounds. The updated 1100 series ps5 is 7.8 pounds. The new 12000 series digital console weight is 7.3 pounds another 200-gram lighter—almost half a kilogram from the 1000 series. WOW!.... so the next test is. the power wattage on all 3 ps5 models. Let's dig in. the 1000 model wattage consumes about 218 watts. the 1100 model wattage consumes 229 watts. and the 1200 new model wattage consumes just 201 watts.. that's crazy right?... all models are quiet while playing games but the 1100 models are better for both models. Now, let's check the thermal temperature on 3 models. on the 1000 model is 53 centigrade. 1100 model is 63 centigrade. 10 centigrade warmer than 1000. 1200 model is 51 centigrade. Overall the 1200 model is better in power and thermal performance. and that's all folks comment here and tell us which model you have and which is a better model for the overall gaming experience.

I have the 1100 Model. Got it at gamestop afew years ago in a bundle with extra Controller, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, Spiderman Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, Ghost of Tushima Directors Cut, and a dual Controller charging dock

I have the latest model I stand it up and for those that don’t know the liquid metal issue has been fixed do to PlayStation putting a foam patting to keep the Liquid Metal from falling down on to the motherboard

The best PS5 is the 1100 series model. That is the model where the engineers have worked out all the kinks from the 1000 series. The 1200 series is a cost cutting model on components hence the smaller form factor.

Had all 3, today I received the new one as a God of war bundle. I am pretty sure it wont overwhelm me. Only thing great about a ps5 is the controller in my oppinion.

I'm trying to find the PS5 model that runs on highest quality resolution I don't want to get stuck like I did when I bought my PS4 slim it doesn't even run on high quality it only goes to 1080p can someone please help me figure it out and I also want a PS5 with a disc drive which one should I choose

1200 is better as the 1100 after one or 2 days of use it's having problem with HDMI over heating ps not turning on
