Modi emphasised India’s commitment to the safety and protection of Hindus and other minority communities in Bangladesh. The violence erupted following Sheikh Hasina's departure, leading to attacks on Hindu temples, households, and businesses. Professor Muhammad Yunus, the interim leader of Bangladesh, called for an end to the violence and protection of minority communities.
