بکھری ہیں جس کے رخ پہ خدا کی نشانیاں
On whose side/face the God's examples/remembrance can be found
جس کے قدم کی گرد بنے کامرانیاں (کامیابیاں)
The foot dust of whom became the victories
وہ جس کے بچپنے پہ ہو قربان جوانیاں
On whose childhood, the youths are ready to be sacrificed
سجدے غلام جس کے عبادت کنیز ہو
For whom the prostrations are slaves, and the worship is concubine
گفتار (بات) جس کی زوق شہد (شہد کا مزہ) سے لذیذ ہو
Whose conversations are more delicious than the taste of honey
ایمان و کفر میں جو نشان تمیز (واضح فرق) ہو
The one who is the distinction between faith and disbelief
خود اپنی زندگی سے جسے حق عزیز ہو
The one who keeps truth more beloved than his own life
وہ ہے محبوب نبیﷺ، شیر خد،ا حق کا ولی
That one is the beloved of Prophet (Peace be upon him), Lion of God and the friend of Truth

The Judge for whole Arab and Non-Arabs
دیکھنا جس کو عبادت ہو، وہ ہے روۓ (چہرہ) علی ؓ
Looking to whose face is equivalent to worship (that one is..)

رن (میدان جنگ) میں جو اپنی تیغ ( تلوار) سے محشر (قیامت) بپا کرے
The one who brings thunder in the battlefield with his sword
دین محمّدیﷺ کا لہو سے دفاع کرے
The one who defends the religion of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) with his blood
مانگے کوئی قطرہ تو سمندر عطا کرے
The one who grants the whole oceans if asked for a mere drop of water
جسکا پسر (بیٹا) ہی دشت (صحرا) کو کرب و بلا کرے
The one whose son gets agony and excruciations (referring to the event of Karbala) in the desert
تو ہے جانباز نبیﷺ
You are the Prophet's (Peace be upon him) brave
تو ہے ہم راز نبیﷺ
You are the Prophet's (Peace be upon him) secret keeper
تیرا خون، خون نبیﷺ
Your blood is the same as blood of Prophet (Peace be upon him)
تو ہے ہارون نبیﷺ
You are the Aaron of Prophet (Peace be upon him)
[Referring to the brotherly relationship of Prophet Aaron and Prophet Moses]
وارث علم نبیﷺ، نفس (روح) پیمبرﷺ بھی علی ؓ
The heir of the Prophet's (Peace be upon him) knowledge, the soul of Prophet (Peace be upon him) is also Ali

مرحب شکن (ختم کرنے والا) وہ دن میں تو شب کو صلوت میں
He is the killer of Marhab (one of the strongest enemy in war, who also happened to be the best wrestler in Arab) in the morning, while he is in prayers at night
لاؤ تو کوئی مثل علی ؓ کائنات میں
It's impossible to bring an example who is equivalent to Ali

آ دیکھ ذرا حالت حیدر ؓ سجود میں
Come and see the Hyder's (another name of Maula Ali) condition in prostration
ہے بندگی تمام علی ؓ کے وجود میں
A complete adoration is in Ali's existence
ذہنوں میں کہاں سماتا ہے منصب (مقام) حیدر ؓ
How can the rank of Hyder be comprehended in minds
سمجھے گے اہل ظرف (عقل والا) ہی بس مطلب حیدر ؓ
Only the magnanimous can understand the true meaning of Hyder
نبیﷺ شمس (سورج) اور وہ قمر (چاند)
Prophet (Peace be upon him) is (like) the Sun and he is (like) the Moon
علی ؓ ولیوں کا فخر
Ali is the pride of Walis (the Friends of God)
وہ امامت کا شجر (درخت)
He is the tree of Imamat (Divine leadership)
نجف اشرف کا کنور (شہزادہ)
He is the prince of Najaf (Resting place of Maula Ali)

واعظ (تبلیغ/درس دینے والا) نسل امامت انہی کے گھر سے چلی
The lineage of Imamat (Divine leadership) and moralization belongs to his household

تو گوہر (موتی) نایاب ہے دنیا کی صدف (موتی والی سیپی) میں
You are the unique pearl within the shell of world
دنیا میں نجف ہے اور میری دنیا ہے نجف میں
Najaf is in this world, but my whole world is in Najaf

حیدر ؓ خدا کی جود و عنایت کا نام ہے
Hyder is the name of God's grants
حیدر ؓ رسول حقﷺ کی خلافت کا نام ہے
Hyder is the name of Prophet's (Peace be upon him) succession
حیدر ؓ ردا (چادر) اطہر زہرہ ؓ کا نام ہے
Hyder is the name of cloak of the pious Zehra (wife of Maula Ali and daughter of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him)
حیدر ؓ حسن حسین کی شوکت (شان) کا نام ہے
Hyder is the name of Hasan and Hussain's glory (Both are the sons of Maula Ali)
حیدر ؓ ازل سے نور ولایت کا نام ہے
Hyder is the name of the light of Walayat (Friendship of God)
حیدر ؓ قلندروں کی حرارت (گرمی) کا نام ہے
Hyder is the name of the mystics' warmth
حیدر ؓ صداقتوں کی عدالت کا نام ہے
Hyder is the name of the truth's court
حیدر ؓ منافقوں کی علالت (بیماری) کا نام ہے
Hyder is the name of hypocrites' ailment
علی ؓ دم علی ؓ ہر دم میرے مولیٰ ہیں علی ؓ
Breath Ali, Ali is in every breath, Ali is my Maula (Master)
علی ؓعلی ؓعلی ؓعلی

کیونکر تیری نظیر (مثال) ملے سید و صفدر (فوج کی صفوں کو پھاڑنے والا)
It is impossible to find an example equivalent to you O the Syed (Master) and the Brave
بعد از نبیﷺ سمی کا تو ہی، قصّہ مختصر
To cut the story short, after prophet (Peace be upon him) you are the one for Samie
