I have no excuse whatsoever, I have technology and the internet at my fingertips 24 hours a day.
This strong woman ( Dr. M.Freeman) didn't have any of that and she was the first.
Dear God I have NO

My grandma was a pioneer woman in medicine too, radiology to be exact. She said it was always a fight for her through college and even when she opened up her own practice. She always told me how when she first started practicing, all of the male doctors would get chosen over her when they needed help, solely because she was a woman. But, one day her phone started ringing and after that it never stopped. People realized how capable and brilliant she really was and I still have people who thank me (she has since passed) for the work she accomplished. The same will be said about Dr. Freeman, long after she retires.

God bless her. What an inspiration. The grand daughter of a slave. One of only 4 women in her medical school. Testiment to the incredible resilience of the black American woman. Bravo 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Wow! What a pioneer and beautiful spirit. She could have retired long ago, but this isn’t a job for her, it’s her life’s mission.
