I like how the doctor went from calmly regenerating on the floor, to exploding the whole TARDIS.

I've always loved how the doctor's final speeches are always presented like the actors own goodbye to the character of The Doctor.

I never properly appreciated Capaldi as The Doctor until the end of his run, but even so, I have to admit that "Kidneys! I've got new kidneys! I don't like the colour" is a fantastic line delivered perfectly.

I still get tears whenever I watch the 10th Doctors regeneration. it's honestly one of the most painful ones to watch, especially after he says he doesn't want to go

The 2nd doctor's regeneration is the scariest in my opinion. He's forced into it, thrown into a black void and forced to change. His begs of refusal echoing into the nothing for no-one to hear.

I think the 10th Doctor's "I dont want to go" was actually david tennant not wanting to give up his dream role just yet. It makes me cry for him everytime

Out of all the regenerations, Matt's 11th Doctor still makes me tear up every time... I think in part due to Clara's sadness of not wanting her friend to go.

I like how the doctors try to be brave during regeneration in front of their companions although they are being scared from changing of their identity

"Hate is always foolish and love is always wise" great line

It’s unfortunate that the 8th doctor & the War Doctor didn’t have more screen time. They had a lot of potential.

for me it was Matts Smiths regeneration into Peter Capaldi that made me the most sad as he was the first doctor who I watched from start to finish, and the moment when the doctor said " I'll always remember when the doctor was me" and knowing that it was Matt saying that and not the doctor had me on the brink of crying.

The special effects for the Tenth Doctor's regeneration still hold up surprisingly well

"New teeth, that's weird"
A while later....
"I know these teeth"

20:33 “Rose, before I go, I just want to tell you you were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And do you know what? So was I!”

For many of us, this was our first.

I love that every single time the doctor regenerates he somehow manages to destroy most of the inside of the tardis. Then the 13th was smart and did it outside so she wouldnt harm the box.

Even if she didn't have a good run in the series because of a producer, I think Jodie's scene was a nice farewell as she was excited for what was coming next and not afraid

I love Eight's regeneration. For one thing, it was long overdue, so seeing my favourite Doctor regenerate at last was sad but satisfying. Also, I just love the idea that Eight - a highly moral Doctor, partly in reaction to his previous self's grand scheming - gives up everything he is in his final moments, believing that he'll never be the Doctor again and preparing to become a warrior. An excellent and very satisfying minisode.

I'm glad we live in an age where we can still see classic Doctors have new adventures, even with the original actors gone. David Bradley has kept the fundamentals of William Hartnell's Doctor intact while also putting a bit of his own spin on the characters, much like Richard Hurndall in the Five Doctors. If he had a live-action series, I'd watch it. But the Big Finish stuff that he's done is great, too.

I feel like matt smith wasn't acting at all .. the way he looks in the camera at the lost second when saying "when the doctor was me..." was genuine. You can see the emotion.

I’d say Matt Smith’s speech before he regenerated was one of if not the saddest endings to a doctor…
