The main thing I love about your videos is they actually make me think. I watch a lot of different videos on different subjects from different channels, and they're all of interest to me, otherwise I wouldn't watch them, but with the topics yours delve into and conversations that occur things get brought up that frequently make me pause the video and just think about what was just said. I really enjoy it because it makes me go over in my own mind how I view reality and consciousness more indepthly. My hope is that a conclusion to the theories can eventually be reached and we aren't just going to be stuck i a perpetual thought experiment.

The fact that Joscha referenced Minecraft’s “time set day” function in a serious debate about deep philosophical questions makes me so happy

Curt - re: your on-screen remark at 1:01:10, you are doing a *fantastic* job here. Nothing is worse than having a channel host constantly interrupting his guests and so on. You're handling this *exactly* right.

This is excellent. Mr. Vervaeke was exceptional in listening and formulating questions. This aids in the understanding of Mr. Bach's book. Three brilliant minds. Thank you Mr. Jaimungal.

I find Joscha Bach's work endlessly fascinating and generally enjoy listening to him. My only slight critique is his unique style of communicating ideas can be a double-edged sword. What i mean is that his style can frame concepts in ways that allow one to approach the ideas from a fresh perspective, but at the same time, he can sometimes present relatively straight-forward concepts in ways that are, IMO, needlessly over-complicated. I don't think it's intentional, but he weaves these sort of baroque metaphors into his explanations in such a way that it can be difficult to determine where the analogy ends and the literal begins. The result is incredibly unique ways of thinking about the ontology of consciousness, religion, idealism versus materialism, and so on, but it can sometimes leave you -- or, at least, _me_ -- with this difficult to parse hodgepodge of arcane obscurantism. There is a consistent ontology and epistemology there, but my own limitations force me to repeatedly listen sections, slow them down, and often use captions. It's less of a critique of Joscha and more-so of myself, but I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

This is seriously one of the best channels on YouTube. I come away from every interview with something completely new and worthwhile to think about. Amazing!
