What’s the word he uses at 0:57? Postulators? Oscillators?

Hoffman's work is simple : consciousness agents use "Space-time" as an interface to communicate with each other. So When you see a brain, or whatever objects inside the space-time, doesn't matter what, the very space-time is just an Interface. What you see there is inadequate representations of conscious agents interacting with each other beyond space-time.

And I think he doesn't understand Hoffman's work at all. And I'm not surprised! Anyone straight up coming from Physicalist frame of mind will surely be confused & reject his work viscerally because they don't even have an ideal frame of reference to even approach his work in the first place. Non-Dual awareness or at least intellectual understanding of it is a must to really get Hoffman's work, which goes above most people's head. And I'm not surprised.

It’s utter nonsense to say that the real world is not the way we see it. To claim something like that you would need to be able to explain what the real word is which is of course impossible because your explanation would be again nothing but the way YOU see the world . Our perspective of the world is equally real and true like any other.

Why over-complicate this? Hoffman hits a dead end on his very first premise: How can you use evolutionary theory -- itself a set of assertions premised on human beings, i.e. scientists, implicitly inferring the structure of reality from sensory observations -- to prove that sensory observations have a 0% probability of allowing one to infer the structure of reality? The argument is very obviously self-defeating.

Joscha You need to do some homework on software development especially frontend/backed relationship, holistic IT architecture, Turing test is different topic.
