Former 'Trans' Kid, 'There Is No Test For Transgenderism'

As a former trans kid, I am speaking out to let people know that most kids who develop a trans identity will not grow up to be trans if allowed to naturally progress through childhood. A trans identity is a coping mechanism often adopted after a trauma. These children need to be encouraged to love themselves rather than to be told that they were born in the wrong body.

My goodness, I hate to see women cry 😞...

I've yet to see anyone else get to the root of what's really going on with many trans people. What you're saying is so important.

Thank you for sharing your story.. too many young people are becoming victims of a push to only interpret things one way. There are many reasons why someone might go through a phase where they want to transition, but could be hurt by it when it doesn’t resolve the real reasons that have been ignored

Amazing how men know which sex to assault. You'd almost think sex based spaces and sex based safety and privacy rights were necessary.

From a trans person, I do think some kids deserve the medical treatment. If a kid is suicidal and cutting themselves before puberty because of gender (and it wasn’t caused by external forces) you can only imagine them after. What are the chances they’ll go back on it if it’s that severe? We do need to have thorough evaluations of the situation. No, there is no test for trans kids, but if the kid is cutting and suicidal with no external force, I think it’s ridiculous to say they’re too young. Every situation is different, and I think people base things off of personal experiences way too much. I do think it’s best not to have medical intervention, but under severe circumstances, I think it should be allowed.
