The fact that this surgery is being done on still developing children is sick. My mother was a huge tomboy as a young girl. She wanted to wear boy clothes, play with boys toys, etc. When she hit puberty that totally went away and she fully embraced her femininity. There are kids these days who are going through identity phases like this and their psychotic parents are having their bodies mutilated and their minds warped forever instead of letting them be kids and find their identity in the natural way.

So heart-wrenching to see this, and I've seen this clip before. It's going to take generations to undo the damage that has been wrought in just the past decade, if we ever can. This damage is visible. Imagine if we told schizophrenics to act upon what the voices in their heads tell them what to do? People are screaming about the need for mental healthcare when it comes to the gun debate, but it's crickets when it comes to this one, and this is also a mental illness. If it wasn't, there would never be anyone that undergoes de-transition.
