Steps for Virtual environment:

1. Make sure you are using a genuine ISO non-corrupted file.
2. check the minimum hardware required for the OS version (HDD, RAM etc.)
3. do not import ISO on configuration wizard
4. select “I will install operating system later” option
5. click on custom hardware on final wizard windows
6. Goto CD ROM setting == select "Use ISO image file" and browse for ISO
7. Start and Issue resolved

Hello, If you are facing issue while doing physical device installation, you can try below step as suggested by one of user Anibal. I have not tested yet, but it seems it works for a few users.

"IF YOU'RE INSTALLING WITH A CD/DVD AND YOU GET THE ERROR, TRY EJECTING
THE CD/DVD BEFORE CLICKING INTO THE SCREEN THAT GIVES YOU THE MESSAGE... THEN, AFTER YOU PASS THAT SCREEN, PUT THE CD/DVD BACK ON AND CONTINUE WITH THE INSTALLATION... IT JUST WORKED FOR ME! "

Also, there might be an issue with iso, it might be corrupted or checked with genuine os. Please check that, too.

Thanks! Worked on Hyper-V and Win2019. I didn't need to create a new VM. I just turn off the VM, eject the ISO, power on the VM, then insert the ISO as DVD, then issue CTRL-ALT-DEL to the VM. Then Win2019 will install no problem.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to create this video.

I want to make sure that everyone understands why this error happens in the first place. When creating the VM initially if you use the default memory of 512MB, the installer will give the error "windows cannot find the Microsoft software license terms". I recreated the VM using at least 1024MB for memory and this is what resolved the issue. I was able to use the Generation 1 VM as well with no issues and even attach the ISO at creation versus using the "Install Operating System Later" and had no issues as well.

This happens because of Vmware easy install. You can disable it by unmounting the floppy drive.

Solved. In my case also it was a RAM issue. Increased it to 1GB from 512.

This is not working in my case. instead of the windows configuration settings screen I get "Attempting to start from: > EFI VMware Virtual SCSI Hard Drive, > EFI VMware Virtual SATA CDROM Drive, > EFI Network" all are unsuccessful. Then I am sent to the Boot Manager. I don't know what to do or where to go from here. I am installing Windows Server 2016 Eval Standard from the DataCenter ISO. Any Ideas?
