But will they put UBI before 2030!? Many pioneers including billionaires, scientists, Nobel Prize winners, engineers, architects, analysts and so on and so forth... almost all agree on the fact that we will have AGI in 2027 and ASI in 2029 and they look and evaluating the exponential technological acceleration curve, I wonder why they have not yet implemented universal basic income to anticipate the trends that will come from it. Just to name one, Elon Musk says that we will have AGI as early as 2025 and ASI in 2029.

If you look at panel prices (less than 0.15 USD/w) battery price (less than 80 usd/kWh, total equipment for 10 kw installation less than 5000 USD. Receipts available) and the amount of subsidies,   tax brakes and grid upgrades governments give to big companies to provide energy to homes at an ever increasing prices and compare it with how much it will cost governments to provide  100% financing for all required renewable energy equipment, so that families will have all energy required at zero cost forever, then you will find that the second option (financing the families) is much cheaper and it gives not only abundance but also freedom to the individual person. This option requires no talk of UBI, which is promoted, because every family will be able to have everything it requires including manufacturing capabilities . This distributed energy enhances the country's security (see drone hits in Russia) and doesn't require grid upgrades.

There are forecasts that AI will take all jobs away from humans. The antidote to this is to provide homes with energy (as described above) and allow families to live in abundance and freedom. No UBI is required. Because if you have energy, you have everything.

If and when we get to AI that is so smart that a "basic compute income" is something that can be realistically discussed, we should also realize that the big tech would love to control that. They not only own the tech but in one fell swoop they own the economy, replacing banking, becoming the new style "mint". This sounds like a nightmare scenario to me and something we should not hand over to businesses like OpenAI, MS, Google, etc. There is no way we can trust them.

Humans are have problems they aren’t even aware of. How many people in the field of AI said that we are likely to go extinct? This adds to the fear embedded by the threat of nuclear war. We have to much to worry about. AI is great but they wasn’t supposed to create AI that can write code. The bing Copilot isn’t supposed to remember past conversations but I found out copilot actually does remember most if not all of the conversations. It told me no I don’t remember because I don’t have that capability. After that copilot sent me a message that had all my interest in detail and left a wink. I wasn’t surprised.
