IT WORKS!! 3D Tesla Valve Simulation

Finally got some time to simulate the tesla valve concept.
This 3D version of a tesla Valve allows Free Flow in one direction while greatly restricting flow in the opposite direction.

What applications would you use it on?

0:35 After seeing your 3D tesla valve i can say you can improve it. At least on the reflow(less backward flow)
Make the second cone smaller exist(nozzel) the fluid have more dificult to go backward because the entrance is smaller and the recirculation flow push it again forward because is biger and have more possibility to take fluid. And doing this acording to Bernoulie law increase speed on the nozzel so improve flow forward as desired.

Hola. Muy interesante. ¡podrías compartir cuales son las condiciones de flujo Mach y Reynolds? ¿De donde eres?

Is it possible for your 3D Tesla valve to have one end at standard atmospheric pressure and the other end at a near-vacuum pressure of 20 Pa?

Hello. I really like your design. Is there somewhere to download the stl file or are you able to send it to me?

I was hoping to get a restriced flow for air but, it doesnt seems to work with air

Where can I get this file to try some testing? This looks super cool

I fell down the rabbit hole of revolved tesla valves. Is this geometry possible to manufacture? It looks like the channels innards are floating not making it manufacturable. Please let me know if I'm missing something or mis-understood

Hi, i´m a mechanical engineering student currently working on a proyect where i think this valve is useful. I´m trying to make a water deposit whose outlet is done by overflow. Water enters from below (at high speed and high pressure) and the outlet is at the edge in the top (with no turbulence and low speed).
My first idea was to make a big deposit where the inlet flow fills the deposit until it reaches the top and overflows. After a considerable distance/height turbulence made by the high speed&pressure inlet would be lost. And this might make the deposit way smaller. I´d be very thankful if i could get this model and do some testing with it.
Btw do you speak spanish? I just saw your name
