Is Zenless Zone Zero CONNECTED to Honkai Star Rail? There is a popular lore theory surrounding the Characters Koleda and Grace. And how Belobog industries has the SAME exact name as the main city in Honkai Star Rail. Is there any connection? and is Zenless Zone Zero's main story connected to the world of Honkai? Just as other Hoyoverse games are?

I'd believe them if it weren't for the Honkai coded monster designs, as well as several characters(especially from When Miracle Began trailer) looking somewhat familiar. That and also Hollows being chaotic spaces that can corrupt anything is similar with the Sea of Quanta and Honkai radiation

This is a coincidence, but not by the community's words, but the devs' words.

ZZZ dev team is not a part of the usual dev team hoyoverse. People from the Honkai Impact dev team first created Genshin and then HSR, but ZZZ's dev team is completely fresh from the ground up, new hires and everything.

They say this is their "first game ever." in their letter to proxies post.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a nod to HSR, but I wouldn't be surprised if it really was a coincidence.

What I think is; "We've made some stuff before and we've been making new stuff now but focused too much on the old stuff rather than the new one so let's just reuse the ideas from the old stuff to lessen the burden of world building and lore creating, its sll ours anyways, no one's gonna complain and no matter what we copy, let the audience overthink it and they'll create new content for us to capitalize on cause thwy believe everything we did has connections to myths, legends, countries when in reality it was all just coincidences and inspiration to make it cooler and have depth"
